    Applesmart Student Regulations and Legal Disclaimer

    Introduction:

    These regulations apply to all students accessing and using the services provided by Applesmart (“the Platform”). By participating in courses or any other activities on the Platform, students agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These regulations are designed to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all users, while protecting the owners of the Platform from inappropriate, harmful, or damaging behavior.

    Student Regulations

    1. Appropriate Behavior
      Students are expected to engage respectfully with all members of the Platform, including teachers, volunteers, and other students. Any form of harassment, abuse, bullying, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform.
    2. Content Integrity
      Students must not upload, share, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, offensive, or otherwise violates the Platform’s terms. This includes, but is not limited to, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene content or content that violates intellectual property rights.
    3. Use of Personal Information
      Students should not share personal, private, or sensitive information (such as phone numbers, addresses, or financial details) with others on the Platform. Any sharing of personal information with other users is done at the student’s own risk, and Applesmart is not responsible for any consequences resulting from such actions.
    4. Compliance with Course Guidelines
      Students must follow the guidelines and instructions provided by the teachers for each course or activity. This includes respecting the course structure, submitting assignments on time, and engaging with the course content in a professional and appropriate manner.
    5. Recording, Privacy, Zoom Classes, and Ownership of Course Content
      Students should be aware that course sessions, including lectures, interactions, and other activities conducted on the Platform, may be recorded for educational and quality assurance purposes. By participating in Zoom classes or any other online meetings, students consent to the recording and use of their likeness, voice, and any content provided during these sessions. Students are also advised to be mindful of their privacy during Zoom sessions by avoiding the display of personal information (such as their full name or face) if they prefer to remain anonymous. However, if a student chooses to display personal information during a session, it may be recorded as part of the interaction.
      All Zoom course videos, along with all videos and materials uploaded to the Platform, are ultimately owned by Applesmart. Applesmart reserves the right to use, modify, or distribute these materials at its discretion. Students and teachers acknowledge that Applesmart may use these contents for educational, promotional, or other purposes as it deems appropriate.
    6. No Unauthorized Distribution
      Students are prohibited from redistributing or sharing course content, materials, or recordings outside of the Platform, without express permission from the course creator or Applesmart. This includes sharing videos, documents, or other materials for personal profit or otherwise.
    7. Prohibited Activities
      Students are strictly forbidden from:
    • Attempting to hack, manipulate, or otherwise interfere with the website’s functionality.
    • Engaging in any illegal activity, including but not limited to piracy, fraud, or identity theft.
    • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Platform rules or gain unfair advantages.
    1. Underage Students
      Underage students must be registered as members by their parents or guardians. By registering, parents or guardians agree to these terms on behalf of the underage student and are responsible for their child’s use of the Platform. The underage student must have a responsible adult in charge of their access and participation.

    Legal Disclaimer for Students

    General Disclaimer
    The owners and operators of this website (“Applesmart”) are not responsible for, and shall not be held liable for, any inappropriate, harmful, or detrimental behavior by students, teachers, volunteers, or other users of the Platform. Applesmart does not have direct control over the actions or conduct of students and other users and cannot be held accountable for any negative consequences resulting from such actions.

    1. Student Responsibility
      Each student is solely responsible for their own behavior and interactions with others on the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and the Platform’s code of conduct. Applesmart does not endorse or take responsibility for any views, statements, actions, or content expressed or provided by students.
    2. Actions for Inappropriate Behavior
      In the event of inappropriate or harmful behavior by students, Applesmart reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
    • Warnings
    • Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts
    • Removal of content
    • Legal action if necessary
      However, such actions do not imply liability for any prior actions or conduct of the student involved.
    1. Indemnification
      By using this website, all students agree to indemnify and hold harmless Applesmart, its owners, operators, affiliates, and any related parties from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their conduct, including but not limited to any harm, losses, or legal consequences that may result from interactions with teachers, other students, or content provided on the Platform.
    2. Reporting Violations
      Applesmart encourages students to report any inappropriate, harmful, or damaging behavior immediately to the support team. Applesmart will review and address reported incidents in accordance with its terms of use and policies, but is not responsible for actions that occur outside the scope of the Platform’s direct control.
    3. General Limitation of Liability
      Applesmart does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform or the availability of all courses and services at all times. In no event shall Applesmart be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury, resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform, even if Applesmart has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

     

    Agreement


    Students, or parents or guardians of underage students, agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the student and acknowledge that they will not hold Applesmart liable for any damages, losses, or legal consequences arising from the student’s use of the Platform.

    By using the Platform, students (and their parents or guardians, where applicable) confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in these regulations and the legal disclaimer.
