Week 16 – Creative Writing with Stronger Verbs

This week, students will continue writing a three-paragraph creative composition using pictures as inspiration. In addition to reinforcing structure and style, students will focus on improving their word choice by avoiding weak verbs and replacing them with more specific, powerful alternatives. They’ll continue using their outline, stylistic techniques, and proper formatting to guide their writing.
