Week 5 – Expanding to a Two-Paragraph Summary

This week, students will create a key word outline from an informational text and turn it into a two-paragraph summary. They’ll continue to apply correct formatting, write a purposeful title, and use the checklist to guide their work. A new stylistic technique will be introduced, helping students add variety and interest as they write longer, more organized pieces.
