Week 7 – Retelling Stories with Style and Stronger Verbs

This week, students will continue writing a three-paragraph retelling from a story outline. They’ll be introduced to a new stylistic technique and will begin working with a list of “banned verbs” to help them choose more specific, descriptive words in their writing. Students will also continue formatting their work correctly and creating thoughtful titles as part of the writing process.
