About Course
Level 2B Writing Course (Grades 6–8)
Refine Structure. Elevate Style. Write with Confidence.
This 24-week writing course challenges students to take their writing to the next level. Using Structure and Style for Students: Level 2B from the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW), students will write summaries, reports, critiques, and stories with increased complexity, style, and independence. This course is ideal for students with prior IEW experience or those who are comfortable writing multi-paragraph compositions.
Each lesson guides students through more advanced structural models and stylistic techniques, helping them build stronger outlines, write with clarity and voice, and revise thoughtfully. Students receive weekly instruction, structured checklists, and individualized teacher feedback to help them grow as confident academic writers.
Taught by certified teacher Ms. Justyna, this course supports students as they move toward more mature, academic writing while still offering structure, encouragement, and creativity.
