Week 2 – Summarizing Informational Texts

This week, students will continue learning how to organize information by creating a key word outline from a nonfiction article. They’ll also watch a short educational video and take notes while listening. Using their outline, students will write a short summary in their own words. They’ll apply correct formatting to their work and continue developing confidence in writing with structure and clarity.
