Week 20 – Writing a Personal Knowledge Paragraph with Style

This week, students will choose a topic they already know well and write a structured paragraph to inform or interest their reader. Using a series of planning questions, they’ll organize their thoughts and create a clear, focused composition. In addition to banning weak adjectives, students will also be introduced to their first sentence opener—a new stylistic technique that adds variety and strength to their writing.
