Week 4 – Summarizing from a Story

This week, students will continue practicing how to write a clear summary using a key word outline, now with a short story as their source text. They’ll apply their understanding of formatting, craft an intentional title, and incorporate previously learned stylistic techniques into their writing to strengthen both clarity and expression.
