Course Description
This course is for both beginners and experienced developers who are looking for a course that is fun and comprehensive that teaches you all the skills you need to build professional-quality websites with HTML5 and CSS3. By the end of this course, students will have all the skills required to build their own websites.

● CSS Basics:
○ Implementing CSS
○ Basic CSS selectors
○ Dev tools introduction
○ Fonts in CSS

○ Box model, margin, and padding
○ Float and alignment
○ Link state and button styling
○ Navigation menu styling
○ Inline, block, and inline-block display
○ Positioning

● “Thomas Alva Edison” Project – working with images and javascript basics

a. We will be using CodePen during classes. All students must have access to a computer.

Assessment
Students will be assessed through weekly quizzes, homework, and personal projects that will be built throughout the term.
